All our systems can be used for audio recording.
The Edit zone and its Focusrite interface can easily accommodate an operator and musicians. There are two mic/DI inputs as well as connections from our hardware instruments. You may also wish to use our personal monitoring system and place your talent physically in the Mix zone space and/or the Production zone space. While this is not the same as having distinct control room and studio spaces, it can provide some comfortable recording options.
The Mix zone easily provides a control-room-only style approach to recording and tracking. The Apollos have mic preamps, direct inputs, and multiple headphone jacks to allow close-knit creativity. You can also extend your talent into the Workshop or the Production zones for added isolation.
The Production zone has an audio system primarily focused on streaming, however Pro Tools Studio and 16 preamps can serve for recording. You may wish to close the door and use the Production zone as your control room, while locating your performers in the Mix zone and the Workshop for isolation and acoustic options.
